Naming — Ahamie

Ahamie — pronounced “ah-HAH-mee”, rhymes with salami.

The Tamil root aham (அகம், meaning self / inner core) is hidden inside the spelling. A user’s “company brain” should feel like an inner core — not a vendor’s tool, but their own.

We deliberately switched off “Akamie” to pre-empt audible collision with Akamai (different prefix, different consonant cluster). USPTO classes 009 (software) and 042 (SaaS) are clean.

  • Lowercase ahamie in code and CLI
  • Capitalized Ahamie in prose, marketing, and trademark filings
  • The wordmark uses no special characters or diacritics — ASCII-stable across keyboards
  • The logomark renders the aham syllable as a softly highlighted inner core

the company brain you own.
